Product Description
Aquatic Arts 1 Juvenile White Specter | Live Freshwater Aquarium Lobster/Crawfish/Crawdad/Real Living Fish Tank Pet
The White Specter Crayfish is a beautifully glowing white variant of the Electric Blue Crayfishspecies (Procambarus alleni). It looks particularly striking against black gravel substrate, a blackbackground, or under a purple aquarium light.Though most crayfish are often reclusive, this species is very active. They will eat most anymeaty or plant-based foods, and they may also eat live plants. As it matures, this crayfish maybecome aggressive towards other animals in the tank. It is important to provide plenty of hidingplaces, such as PVC pipes. This is even more crucial when housing multiple crayfish in the sametank. Basic aquarium gear is required, especially an internal or external filter (e.g. a sunsunfilter) and aquarium pump (e.g. a fusion air pump). Large crayfish produce a lot of waste, so awater conditioner and/or nitrate remover may be necessary. This is a hardy animal, but regular water changing is vital to its optimal health. Other bottom-dwelling animals should be avoided. Crayfish will typically eat whatever they can catch, butsince they are slow moving, they are not often able to harm fast-swimming fish (such as Daniofish, Molly fish, Platy fish, etc.)This listing is for a juvenile crayfish, which is a younger and smaller variant of White SpecterCrayfish at a discount price. This crayfish is a particularly fast grower and should grow into adultsize and full color potential within 1 to 3 months. In the meantime, customers who choose tobuy a juvenile specimen can save money and experience the excitement of watching their littlecrayfish grow!
