Description
- Chopstick snails (stenomelania torulosa) feature unique and attractive spike-shaped shells. These large freshwater snails look similar to black Devil snails or giant sulawesi snails.
- These are peaceful Aquarium snails and completely safe to keep with fish Tank plants, freshwater fish, dwarf shrimp (such as Amano shrimp and neocaridina shrimp) and other freshwater animals.
- They feed on biofilm and decaying Plant matter. They will also eat leftover fish food, such as pleco food, as well as most types of frozen and dry aquarium food.
- Care for these freshwater snails is extremely easy, so they make great beginner aquarium animals! They can often be found burrowing in gravel or sand aquarium substrate.
