I love this jacket. It's useful in both the wilderness and on my walk to work in the city. Great fit (sz L, 5'9" 175 lbs), warm, and super packable. I tried this on in a store along with a few other coats before buying (something I'd recommend doing), and I was more impressed with the Arc'Teryx's craftsmanship, ingenuity, and warmth vs coats from competitors. Just understand its limitations. This is a down jacket with a DWR coating, which means it is NOT fully waterproof unless worn as a mid-layer under a waterproof shell. DWR is great for snow flurries or a freak drizzle (keep in mind, over time it wears out and makes the jacket more susceptible of taking on water and losing loft/warmth), this coat is best worn on days with clear weather.
Pros: Very warm (worn down to sub-20 degrees with 20-30 mph gusts with a base and thin mid-layer) SUPER light and compressible (Size L is ~10 oz and stuffs down to the size of a small water bottle in the included stuff...
This is actually a pretty serviceable down jacket, as these things go. The combination of actual quality 850-power down fill with some synthetic insulation in areas most likely to hit meaningful moisture is a nice touch. While unavoidable with jackets that have fully-attached hoods, having the edges of the collar area smacking against my cheeks when it's zipped up is a mild irritation. This said, it's properly light, perfectly warm, and overall good purchase. These are the pros.
The cons are mostly nitpicks more than objectively "bad" things. The price is astronomical (even at the mild discount I got it at), which is par for the course for Arc'teryx. You can acquire a comparable hooded down jacket from Patagonia for nearly $100 less, and for another $20 or so below that can acquire a mostly-comparable one from North Face. The jacket doesn't have an interior security pocket (which I use for my phone, but it'd be nice to have).
