The Ares Shadow 240 is a feature-packed mini quadcopter that's ideal for both the absolute beginner and the experienced pilot. The advanced 6-axis stabilization system provides agile flight and maximum stability out of the box, and when you add Ares' exclusive software package to the mix, both first time and experienced pilots will enjoy that 'dialled in' feel in flight. Moreover, two different control rates help ease the learning curve and allow the fun to continue as your flying skills grow. Powerful LEDs and an innovative colour-coded lighting system, with specially designed light bars, make the futuristic design of the Shadow 240 visible at any angle and flying in the dark easy.

When you're ready for a whole new perspective, just clip on the modular WiFi FPV camera (sold separately) and sit in the pilot's seat as you fly around the house or outside in light winds. The image is streamed real-time to your mobile device, which can be conveniently attached to your transmitter. Plus, many of the same accessories that fit previous generations of similar class Ares quadcopters will also fit the Shadow. So, you can easily add a water blaster squirt gun, a bubble machine that puts out a trail of bubbles, or a digital camera for even more flying fun. The Ares Shadow 240 is a Ready-To-Fly (RTF) aircraft which means the attractive, durable airframe arrives 100% factory assembled. Almost everything needed to fly is in the box, including a 2.4GHz standard size 4-channel transmitter, a 780mAh 1S 3.7V Li-Po battery, and an AC charger for convenient charging. Just add four AA-size batteries for the transmitter and you can be flying within minutes of opening the box.
