To perform a wishing spell, simply write down your wish on either a piece of parchment paper or brown paper bag. Fold the petition in half, making sure you fold the paper towards you. Place the candle on a plate and place both the plate and candle over your petition. You may also print out images that represent your wish or intentions. Place these under the plate as well. When you are ready, light the candle and recite either psalm 20 or 23. You may also simply say your own prayer if you so prefer. For a seven day ritual, make sure that for each night of the ritual, you only burn the candle for 15-20 minutes. You will want to repeat your prayer during this time. On the last day, burn the candle until it is finished. Take all the remaining items to a crossroads. Warming: To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn candle within sight.
