Enabling Thunderbolt 3 technology on select X99 and Z170 motherboards, the ThunderboltEX 3 add-on card delivers up to 40 Gbps transfers and 36W USB charging. A single Type-C port supports Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 and DisplayPort 1.2, while a second USB 3.1 Type-A provides additional transfer functionality.PCB color and bundled software versions are subject to change without notice.
