AudioQuest NRG-4 Power Cable Smooth Yet Detailed, Sonic Excellence at a Reasonable Price NRG-4 uses a blend of solid  PSC+  and  PSC  conductors in a self shielding Counter-Spiral Hyperlitz. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, which is the greatest single source of distortion in an audio cable or an AC power cable.  PSC+  copper's exceptionally high purity, nearly perfect surface finish, and refined interior grain structure dramatically reduce distortion compared to OFHC or other metals. The Counter-Spiral geometry minimizes conductor interaction while maintaining a fixed low-inductance relationship between conductors. NRG-4 's two RF Stoppers filter Radio Frequency Interference in both directions, to prevent outside and equipment generated interference.
