Axon Optics Spectrashield FL-41 lenses are proprietary and have been shown to block the light which aggravates light sensitivity and migraines. The lens has a unique rose-grey hue with advanced ophthalmic coatings to reduce glare, scratches, and smudges. Thousands of our customers use them as migraine glasses or for problems with light sensitivity.

Light sensitivity is not limited to migraines. Other common conditions with symptoms of photophobia include blepharospasm, retinitis, meningitis, pituitary tumors, agoraphobia, and traumatic brain injuries. They may also help with blocking blue light from computer screens, fluorescent lights, or after concussions.

What is the difference between the outdoor and indoor lenses?

Why not just wear sunglasses?

When you are walking around with sunglasses indoors, you are dark adapting your eyes so that when you do take the sunglasses off you are even more light sensitive than you were before. Precision tinted lenses (sometimes called "migraine glasses") may help solve this problem by blocking the most suspect light while letting the good light in.
