With its two stanchions rising high into the skyline, the Sydney Bridge makes an impressive addition to your BRIO Railway System. It's a beechwood suspension bridge with an assembled length of nearly 4 feet. Ramps on either end have tracking grooves on both top and bottom for easy assembly (and use when constructing other railway attractions); the bridge itself is designed in two sections--one for each stanchion--with hardwood support blocks that rest underneath the track junctures. (If you have two more ramps on hand, you could even assemble it as two separate bridges over smaller waterways.) Bright red suspension cables adorn the bridge's sides, and the height over the waterway below (2.5 inches) is sufficient for Theodore Tugboat and his briny BRIO friends to pass through without difficulty. Considering BRIO's well-earned reputation for excellent craftsmanship and design, this bridge will be around long after your own great-grandkids are through with it. --Julie Ubben
