Description
- CNC-Ported Head Specifications: Each BTR CVH1C-6A head features a CNC-finished 250cc LS1-style cathedral intake port, 63cc combustion chamber, and compatibility with a 3.780-inch bore. BTR reports more than 360 CFM of intake flow at .650-inch lift with its in-house port program.
- Complete Assembled Pair: Includes two fully machined and CNC-ported six-bolt cylinder heads assembled with finished valve seats, powdered-metal guides, LT1-style valves, and BTR .660-inch-lift Platinum valve springs. Rocker arms, rocker bolts, spark plugs, pushrods, head gaskets, and mounting hardware are not included.
- Canted Valve Configuration: The heads position the intake valves at 11 degrees with five degrees of cant and the exhaust valves at 13 degrees with three degrees of cant. This arrangement improves valve unshrouding and supports the installed 2.125-inch hollow-stem steel intake and 1.590-inch steel exhaust valves.
- LS-Compatible Component Design: Uses compatible LS1-style cathedral-port intake and exhaust manifolds, straight pedestal rocker arms, LS1 rocker bolts, and LS-style valve covers. The heads also use Gen V LT-style long-reach spark plugs, accept valve springs up to 1.350 inches outside diameter, and provide clearance for 3/8-inch pushrods.
- Six-Bolt Thick-Deck Castings: The six-bolt configuration can be installed on compatible factory four-bolt LS blocks or aftermarket six-bolt blocks, while the .750-inch deck supports demanding combinations. A 4.100-inch-bore head gasket is required, and the taller casting may require checking or modifying accessory-bracket, alternator, brake-booster, or manifold clearance. BTR technical specifications
