Extends gate's maximum width 1.25" (5/8" extra spacing off of wall on each side) to optionally aid in fitting wider openings, or balances out distance when bottom spindles press against baseboard. Elegant bronze color perfectly matches bronze safety gates, a popular gate color in modern homes, as well as black and wood gates. Black rubber-like backing provides no-slip cushion against your wall. Classic white color perfectly matches light-colored safety gates and blends in with existing white trim. Light grey rubber-like backing provides no-slip cushion against your wall. These wall protectors work by spreading out the pressure applied to your wall over a wider surface area, diffusing the pressure against the soft rubber-like backing of the wall protector. Dimensions
