Attach adhesive to clean and dry surface. 3. Firmly press latch onto surface. Ensure the surface is large enough to allow the entire adhesive area to attach. 4. For easiest use, install the release side of the strap closest to the drawer handle. This allows a one-step, press & release action to easily unlatch with thumb and pull drawer open in one motion. 5. It is important to allow the adhesive to set for 1 hour on the cabinet surface before using the latch. 6. TO OPEN: press and hold button while opening cabinet or drawer. To Remove latch from surface: Carefully peel adhesive off starting at the corner. Gently wipe with water or soap. Use fingers if necessary to remove any remnants that may remain. Caution: Latches are not intended to replace adult supervision! This product is a deterrent. Older children will likely be able to detach the latch if sufficient force is used.
