Kantaten Zu Passion

The ninth disc in the ten-part series 'The Liturgical Year with Johann Sebastian Bach'with Thomanerchor Leipzig. The three cantatas on this disc form part of the first cycle of cantatas which Bach presented to the St Thomas Leipzig congregation in 1723. Georg Christoph Biller, current cantor at St Thomas, conducts the cantatas with extraordinary boys' voices in the solo parts for soprano and alto.
