Back on Track is a product from Diomed AB in Sweden. The no bow bandage is applied as a regular stall wrap. They come in the sizes 30x40 cm and 40x40 cm (12x16 inches and 16x16 inches). They are machine washable, but should not be tumble-dried. How does it work? A white ceramic powder is melted into the polyester fabric. Neither the human eye nor the hand is able to detect it. Since pure polyester easily pills, the fabric consists of 40 % cotton and 60 % polyester. The ceramic powder reflects the body's own thermal-rays, which heats the selected body-part. The heat increases the blood circulation in the fine blood-vessels, which causes the speed of healing-processes to increase. Thermal-rays, also known as infrared-rays, are electromagnetic rays much similar to light. Thermal-rays are invisible, but heats objects that absorb it.
