Just six months after a near-fatal car accident in his native land Jamaica, veteran dancehall DJ Beenie Man is back with his new album "Back To Basics". One of the kings of dancehall is ready to return to his roots, to do what he has done for the past 9 years making hit records. Beenie has spawned hits like "Romi" "Nuff Gal', "Who Am I (Zim Zimma)", and "Girls Dem Sugar". But the hits didn't stop there. "Feel It Boy" featuring Janet Jackson and "Bossman" featuring Sean Paul showed Beenie Man's track record of making hits. He is still on the right track with his first single "Dude" featuring Ms. Thang.
