So you want to write your New Year’s resolution? You want to change your life? Or, you want more balance in your life? But how? Figuring out exactly what we want, or how to make significant changes in our lives can be a daunting task. Whether it’s New Year’s Eve or one of the other 365 days of the year, this Kindle book could help. This guide brings to your attention the natural elements of life as a way to help you decode your needs and wants. Since the beginning of man, our existence has revolved around the natural elements – Earth, Air, Fire and Water. These elements are the very building blocks of our world, and we rely on them to survive. However, at times, we forget what the ancients knew: That it’s our relationship to these elements and their relationship to each other that creates the balance (or imbalance) in our world. In addition to these four elements, some civilizations also count a fifth, less tangible element. The ancient Greeks called this more elusive element Aether. This guide is designed around five elements. First, it gives examples of how various philosophies describe and relate to the elements. Then, it questions you about your relationship to these elements and their presence in your life. Don’t worry, it won’t arduous, or like a test. But, it’s a good way to jog your subconscious mind and get your ‘stream of consciousness’ flowing. The questions are designed to help you tap into some of your needs and wants. Just like in my other guide, Tune-Up Your Creativity, the idea is to make this easy and enjoyable by engaging the right-, creative side of the brain. It helps the left- (and now probably quite daunted) side of the brain, to see that change might be possible. And perhaps it can all be done through a bit of play. You will need a blank notebook to write down your answers. You could always shop for one of mine. Having notebooks and journals with inspiring covers is important to me. So, I produce them for sale – to share with others. The different natural elements described here are represented – as materials and colours - in my growing range of Photo Art Notebooks. For example, I make large soft-cover notebooks, wrapping my own colorful photographs around the cover. Inside are thick, inviting writing pages for you. (You can buy them online.) There is a list of my books at the end of this guide. Or, you can simply search Amazon for my name.
