Made of medical grade stainless steel, the Barbell is sturdy enough to become a family heirloom that can be passed down from grandmother to granddaughter. The Barbell is 6 ¾ inches long and weighs nearly one pound. The larger end is 2 inches wide and the smaller end is 1.5 inches side. The Barbell is first protected by blue rubberized netting and then packed in foam during shipping to our fulfillment house. The 7-inch long, white box is sealed with the official Betty Dodson product label. Be aware that Betty's Barbell does contain small amounts of nickel in the steel.
