Rotini, meaning "twists,†are two-inch lengths of spiral pasta from Northern Italy. These twists allow more sauce to be held, further enhancing the flavor of this high protein pasta.
Cook Time
Cook Barilla ProteinPLUS Rotini in boiling water 10 minutes, then drain and serve according to the recipe directions. Boil for an additional minute for a more tender rotini. Due to its higher protein content, this spiral pasta takes several extra minutes to cook than traditional pasta.
