Two albums of Rod McKuen songs sung by Glenn Yarbrough and produced by Rod McKuen, released in 1968 and 1971, respectively! And it was something of a dream folk-pop pairing; not only had the two collaborated in 1965 on Glenn s RCA album 'The Lonely Things', but, as Rod put it in his sleeve note for 'Each of Us Alone', 'He lets the words work for him, and I am convinced that there is more real music in Glenn s natural voice than in any composition I ve ever created.'
