Our entire CPLA cutlery line is biodegradable and composts in a commercial facility in fewer than 180 days. Our cutlery starts with the sugar from plants. This is where the magic begins. Through a special process the sugar is turned into a bipolymer that can be used to create all types of packaging, containers, cutlery, films, and even apparel. The process of making this material creates 60% less greenhouse gases than normal plastic.
