When you pick up the you can feel the solid build quality. Upper and lower receivers, buffer tube, outer barrel, RIS rails, gas block, and flip up sights are all metal, and built to last. Even the polymer grip and Crane stock are made from solid, high impact ABS, just like the real thing.

You'll find the same build quality and attention to detail inside the gun. This Black Ops M4 comes stock with a full metal Gen. 3 gearbox from SRC with with 8mm metal bearing bushings, metal spring guide, upgraded metal piston head, cylinder, and cylinder head, and pre-shimmed all steel gears. The hop up is metal with a newly designed wishbone style hop up arm that eliminates creep while improving consistency and range, and a new high torque, long axle motor from SRC is ready for LiPo batteries and optimized for .25g or heavier airsoft ammo. High quality upgraded internals combined with a slightly tighter 6.06mm ID metal barrel translate to excellent performance and range. You can expect a consistent muzzle velocity over 370fps with .20g BBs, and more than 600 rounds per minute on full auto. (the exact FPS and RPM will vary with your battery and ammo).

This isn't a project gun that you'll need to tear apart, upgrade, and shim. We've done everything we can to give you an airsoft gun that's ready to fight with the big boys out of the box. That saves you cash and time that you can spend on a custom build-out and more time on the field. If you do want a completely custom gun, or just room to grow in the future, the Black Ops SR4 AEG is ready for anything, inside and out, compatible with most M4 internal components including spring, gearbox, motor, hop up, and barrel upgrades. You can use most standard M4 style magazines including real, mid, and hi-cap mags. The crane stock is ready for your choice of nunchuck style batteries, we recommend 9.6v NiMH or 7.4v LiPo.
