- Black Palm has a Janka Hardness rating of 2020 lb(f)
- Sold as a bookmatched pair cut from a single block. Sold as a pair. Each is at least 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8". Use sealer to bring out the color and close the pores when finishing.
Black Palm grows across tropical Asia and Africa, and features dense, variated black fibers embedded in a softer and lighter tan or light brown colored body. Grain is very straight, and contains no growth rings, knots, or defects. Use sealer to close the pores when finishing.
