The Blackjack BJ005 firefighter helmet flashlight holder is made of heat-resistant thermoplastic, mounts a flashlight (sold separately) to the brim of a firefighting helmet (sold separately) parallel to the line of sight of the wearer for hands-free flashlight use, and fits most round or semi-round flashlights from small 2AA to large tactical lights with the use of an adjustment screw. A flashlight can be removed from the holder and replaced with one hand and without removing the helmet for handheld flashlight use. The holder is lightweight (less than 2 oz.), mounts under most helmet brims to protect the flashlight, and is held in place with three set screws. When attached to standard North American helmets, the holder provides three points of contact between the flashlight and the helmet (at the front of the light, at the holder, and at the back of the light) to help keep the flashlight in place. An adjustment screw provides compatibility with a wide range of flashlight sizes. An Allen key for the adjustment screw and set screws is embedded into the holder body for user convenience and to reduce the risk of losing it.
Blackjack Safety manufactures helmet-mounted lighting for firefighters and industrial mounted lighting products. The company, founded in 2004, is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ.
