- Disclaimer: Our adapter retrieves data from your vehicle's ECMs (Electronic Control Modules) and it is up to the OEM engineers to program the ECMs to transmit the data. If the ECM does not transmit the data, our adapter cannot retrieve it and send it to our App. Therefore the data that you see in our App can vary significantly between make, model, and year of your truck or motorhome. In other words, please don't blame the adapter if it doesn't retrieve the data you're looking for.
The BlueFire Data Adapter is an electronic device that connects to your truck, motorhome, or fire engine's on-board computers (ECMs) and transmits information wirelessly to the BlueFire mobile applications (Trucks, Motorhomes, Firefighters, etc). The Adapter plugs into the 9 pin Deutsch diagnostic port of any Class 3 through 8 heavy duty truck. The Adapter is manufactured in the USA and is constructed of industrial grade materials, will withstand abuse, and is weather resistant.

There are many variations of our Adapters to suit your needs. They include:
- J1939 (9-Pin) for Apple iOS, Android and Windows 10 (Green Plug). Supports both the 250K and the new 500K CAN bus.
- J1939 (9-Pin) for Android and Windows 10 (Black Plug). Supports just the 250K CAN bus.
- J1708 (6-Pin) for Apple iOS, Android and Windows 10 (Grey Plug). For older trucks.
- J1708 (6-Pin) for Android and Windows 10 (Grey Plug). For older trucks.
