I have been selling these pillowcases on Amazon for more than a year at much higher prices with great success on a different ad, but due to quality issues with the other Amazon sellers, The American Pillowcase Company has decided to start its own ad so you know exactly what you are getting.

These are beautiful bag-style, 100% long staple Egyptian cotton pillowcases with 4" hem.

I recommend washing these before using them, but never wash cotton with bleach. The fabric comes with a little starch which the factory uses to increase the quality of the stitching. They will get much softer after several washings. They are machine washable, but are 100% cotton, so they may wrinkle just a bit. I recommend taking them out of the dyer just before they finish drying. If you are still not convinced of the quality, you are welcome to return the product if you are not 100% satisfied.

Textile experts: the construction is 173x120 60x40 yarns, single pick construction - it doesn't get any better. Higher threadcount does not mean higher quality - it just means more threads per inch. This 300 threadcount fabric takes the longest to weave because only a single yarn is used for each weft thread. All the finest hotels in the world use this exact fabric for good reason: it lasts a long time and is really, really nice.
