Overview: The Bogart TriMetric TM-2030RV-F is Bogart's new battery monitor. It is a stand-alone monitor, but it can also work in tandem with the new SC-2030 charge controller for optimized battery life, capacity use and efficiency. The TriMetric is used to monitor battery systems used in remote homes, RVs or boats that have batteries that store solar, wind, or possibly generator powered chargers.
MONITORS: * Energy going in, or out of your batteries, measured in amps or watts, so you can see that your charging sources are charging properly, or how much current your loads are using. * Percent Full display (State of charge) of your batteries, so you can see if you need to charge them more, or check that overall usage is less than your charging resources. * The voltage only of a second battery set, such as a starting battery, or possibly also the input voltage of a solar array (if less than 100 volts.)
FEATURES: * Operates with (nominal) battery systems from 12 to 48V. * Improved lightning protection built in, without having to use adapter. * Serial data output with streaming of real-time data that can be used to control other electronic devices. * Minimal data logging, which can be useful for a technician to diagnose some common setup or operational problems with battery systems.
Compared to the TM-2025A-F, here is how the TM-2030A-F meter differs: * Additional audible low battery alarm based on volts and % full * Ability to work with and control the charging parameters of the new SC-2030 30A PWM charge controller * New display shows while charging: how much of the most recent battery discharge has been replaced. In working with the SC-2030 charger, it can be adjusted to a particular value of overcharge percent before going into float - to help avoid undercharge or overcharge.
