Breathe

At first it was for the two "simply only a beautiful word", but Sphere fits also the style and the sound, which they call spheric pop music with lounge elements. Both are particularly inspired by film music from most diverse epochs, soundtracks such as "Starship Enterprise" and others.

There is no exact line-up of responsibilities within the formation, because, so Nikola, "we create everything together, share the pleasure of composing and making music - there is no boss." Nevertheless there are emphasis. Georg is as musicians and live-mixer for other bands the proven sound specialist, singer Nikola's emphasis is song writing focused more on melody and text. But they actually do all of it together: composing, producing and sometimes also writing the text or the working on the sound. Their creativity can flow freely, due to the fact that they have a studio in which they can experiment.

The first Sphere result is now released: It carries the title "Breathe", just like the first piece on the album. Although Nikola and Georg started producing everything by themselves in the beginning, a musician friend ended up co-producing three tracks and they also ended up "with a little help" from other musicians on different tracks.

If it goes on stage, Sphere has likewise guest support: "We did this for example, when we played all pieces of the album unplugged. We wanted to present our rather electronically aligned music purely, without folderol, only with acoustic guitar, double bass, percussion, vocals and organ." There is the genuine (plugged) Sphere sound is now presented on the album "Breathe" and if getting involved in this sound, it can happen that it seems like that Emmanuelle is dating Commander McLane or Jerry Cotton is having a drink with Ennio Morricone in the year 2010.
