This Breeze Constant-Torque series stainless steel worm gear clamp is used to attach fittings to hoses. The clamp's band is made from stainless steel to provide resistance to scaling and corrosion, and a plated carbon steel screw resists rust. The 5/8" band width provides for a greater sealing area than a standard-sized band, and the clamp's smooth inner liner covers band serrations to help prevent hose damage. This Breeze Constant-Torque series worm gear clamp features a Belleville spring construction that provides constant tension for reduced leakage under changing temperatures.
