The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTPÂ®) is a standardized exam that is used by many private and public schools throughout the country to measure the language arts and mathematics achievement and reasoning abilities of students in first through eleventh grade. The CTPÂ® is also used in some states as an entrance examination for certain schools. The CTP 4Â® is the paper version and the CTPÂ® Online is the computerized version of the exam. The CTP 4Â® Level 3 exam is administered to students who are in the third grade in the spring and the fourth grade in the fall. The exam is composed of multiple-choice and open-ended questions in Verbal Reasoning, Auditory Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, Writing Mechanics, Writing Concepts and Skills, Quantitative Reasoning, and Mathematics.
