- Sanitization and Soaking: Soak the pads in a solution of one quart of cold water with 0.75 grams of metabisulfite and 3.5 grams of citric acid (or substitute with lemon juice). Soak until the pads no longer float, ensuring they are fully saturated for optimal performance.
