Description
- HAND HAMMERED IN TURKEY: formed by artisans to refine thickness, shape, tone, and feel—each Byzance cymbal is truly one of a kind
- B20 BRONZE ALLOY: composed of 80% copper and 20% tin, this alloy produces a rich, complex sound with a wide dynamic range—perfect for nuanced playing
- BENNY GREB SIGNATURE: Byzance Vintage Sand cymbals were developed with Meinl Cymbals artist, Benny Greb, who was looking for a set of cymbals that could comfortably occupy any frequency while delivering a mellow, old-school sound
- SANDBLASTED SURFACE: tones down harsh frequencies and stick attack to give the cymbal a unique soft, mellow touch and pre-aged sound; this finish will age beautifully with a unique patina (NOT recommended to use cymbal cleaner or polish)
- MEDIUM CRASH: delivers an upfront attack with a slightly cleaner and brighter response when compared to the thin version
- SIZE AND TYPE: 18" medium crash
- MODERN MEETS TRADITION: hand hammered with old-world techniques, designed for today’s demands
