The CoJo Gun Magnet was developed specifically for shotgun safety in duck blinds. I have hunted over 40 years, and have seen shotguns fall in blinds many, many times. Duck Blinds can be dangerous places with 6-8 shotguns leaning into a V-notch cut in a 2x4, or between two nails with the gun's stocks sitting out in the way, while people walk back & forth and a dog runs in and out. Not to mention inexperienced hunters, children, and the elements of mud, rain and ice which can be cause for a bad situation. Ideas come from people experiencing a problem and trying to come up with a solution. That's how I conceived the CoJo Gun Magnet, building a better V-notch by incorporating magnets. Solution achieved! Now, the long gun is able to stand straight at a 90 degree angle, and the barrel embedded into the magnetized V-notch. Then came the problem of breaking the habit of leaning the gun, that's where the Assperatus came in, to keep the butt in line. Now without even thinking, the experienced or inexperienced hunter places the gun's stock in the assperatus, and the barrel adheres to the magnet at a 90° angle. This makes for more steel to magnet contact while keeping all of the gun against the wall completely out of the way. The Blind Pack also works great with all types of deer stands from ladders, to strap-ons, to box stands. Even on the outside porch of a box stand giving you a place to rest your rifle, while opening the door to let your son or daughter in with all the stuff we take hunting with us these days.
