- The SerialComm CON-485-PE9 is a high quality, high performance, port-powered RS232 to RS485 converter with DB9 or two included terminal blocks; one for rugged applications and the other with built-in selectable 120 Ohm termination via jumper for maximum flexibility and reliability.
- This converter features ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and surge protection in a 9 pin format and is enclosed in a resilient housing.
- The CON-485-PE9 is bi-directional with autosensing and auto-turnaround, which means that it will not only convert from RS232 to RS485, but also RS485 to RS232 with no software drivers or flow control.
- It is Plug-and-Play (hot-pluggable) and includes a terminal block with a selectable built-in 120 termination via jumper, and also rugged terminal block with no exposed jumpers.
