Slim yet hard working, understated yet powerful, the Flat Out everyday carry folding knife is a beautifully badass paradox. Designer Matthew Lerch of Sussex, WI has practiced jewelry making, watch making, and he's made a serious name for himself as a custom knifemaker. Now, he's channeled his expertise into creating the Flat Out. Its striking profile starts with the thin spearpoint blade style and is balanced by a highly ergonomic and shapely handle. Subtle details like a two-tone satin finish on the blade and bead blast finish on the handle polish the high aesthetic. In motion, though, is where the Flat Out truly shines-open it a mere 30 degrees, and OutBurst takes over, deploying the blade at shockingly quick speeds. A frame lock keeps it solidly in place.
