UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) boosts the USB 3.0 data file transfer speed with a compatible host computer. This lightweight cable travels easily in a laptop bag so you can back-up files on the road. An integrated Micro-USB power port on the adapter allows connection of a long USB power cable to reach a wall charger if all of the USB ports on your computer are occupied.
Important Notes
- 3.5" HDD drives are NOT supported by this adapter
- Connect the USB power cable BEFORE connecting the SSD drive if you need extra power
- Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 at a reduced data transfer speed
- UASP mode requires a computer with UAS host controller and OS support
