The Simple Hearth play kitchen by Camden Rose is built to last for generations. Just as the kitchen is the hearth of the home, the Simple Hearth play kitchen becomes the hearth of the playroom. Children use their play kitchen to mimic what they see taking place daily: boiling water for tea, frying eggs, or baking cookies. A play kitchen encourages the imagination to invent new uses, be it a restaurant, vendor stand or cooking school. The kitchen features knobs that turn, a sturdy stainless steel sink bowl, a faucet that can be made to swivel and a slide-out cutting board. The slide-out cutting board pulls out 12 inches; to expand the work space. Oven and sink doors operate on soft closing hinges. A partition divides the oven from the sink. The Simple Hearth kitchen is 13.25 inches wide, 24 inches long and 39 inches high. The counter is 22.5 inches; from the floor and the hutch shelving is 5 inches; deep. The Camden Rose Simple Hearth ships in one box with the hutch nestled into the bottom on the kitchen for compact shipping. The hutch requires assembly, and the faucet and handles will need to be attached as well (Phillips screw driver required for all the other hardware that is included). Shipped to the continental USA only. A side note we recommend that you apply our Original Beeswax polish every few months to keep the wood looking vibrant and conditioned. The kitchen will start to look a little dry and then you it is time for some conditioning. A little bit goes a long way and the live cherry wood soaks up the wax.
