The knife has a full tang for superior strength and a knurled steel pommel with lanyard hole. The Blackfoot knife is housed in a hard ballistic nylon sheath that is packed full of features, including: a Fire Starter, Flashlight, a Signal Mirror, Survival Whistle, Knife Sharpener, 12 feet of Paracord and an additional trimming knife that can be used as a spear tip.
