- The Canon EOS C700 Cinema Camera features a 4.5K CMOS sensor with resolution exceeding DCI 4K and delivering up to 15 stops of dynamic range, making it well suited for high-end cinema, broadcast, and HDR workflows. The EF mount includes a positive-locking mechanism that ensures secure lens attachment and minimizes play, supporting precise focus and repeatable performance on set.
- Built for professional recording workflows, the C700 supports internal 4K recording up to 60p using Canon XF-AVC as well as Apple ProRes formats for direct-to-edit efficiency. High-speed recording is available with sensor crop for 2K capture up to 240 fps, and full-sensor RAW recording up to 120 fps is supported via the optional Codex Digital Recorder for maximum post-production flexibility.
- Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF covers approximately 80% of the sensor area and provides smooth, accurate autofocus with compatible EF lenses, including face detection and tracking. Manual focus is enhanced with Dual Pixel Focus Guide, offering clear visual confirmation of front or back focus, while adjustable AF sensitivity ensures controlled, cinematic focus transitions during production.
