Why use a stainless steel paper-less coffee dripper?

We first experienced pour-over coffee on a camping trip using a foldable metal coffee strainer. We were AMAZED how good the coffee tasted out of such a clever little coffee maker without using any electricity or fancy coffee gear! 

So we bought a ceramic pour-over cone brewer but soon got tired of wasting money on filters and the taste the bleached paper filter gave the coffee. We were looking for something more eco friendly and less wasteful.  Next we bought a stainless steel filter to use every day but were disappointed. The steel was poor quality and cheaply made, the cup stand broke off the filter base after less than a month.

So, we set out to make the BEST paperless filter we could use everyday.

The cup stand has been redesigned with brushed steel with smooth edges so very easy to clean. We improved the welding that we had seen on other reusable metal filters to create a solidly built pour over coffee maker that will last you for many years to come.
