- Containing Silver: This silver calcium alginate dressing is a non-woven pad composed of calcium alginate and silver particles. When applied to the wound, it absorbs exudate and releases silver, which helps reduce external contamination.
- High Absorption: The high absorbency of seaweed quickly soaks up excess fluid, reducing the need for frequent changes. It forms a soft, viscous gel upon contact with moisture to maintain a balanced environment.
- Comfortable & Gentle Removal: The dressing is soft and conforms to body contours, providing optimal wound care conditions. It creates a gel protective layer that supports gentle replacement and removal without sticking.
- Wide Application: The 3" x 3" dressing can be freely trimmed to fit different wound sizes. Suitable for partial to full thickness wounds with moderate to heavy exudation, including postoperative wounds, trauma wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, and other minor injuries.
