Celtic Chess Board Blackwork Pattern

A blackwork pattern of Celtic Chess Board.
This picture can be stitched using any colour, or any colour of canvass. To make this picture more colourful, you could stitch the outer boarder in one colour. The inner boarder in another colour, and the single tiles of the chess board in another colour. Make sure that as it is stitched using just one strand of thread, that it will show upon the canvass once finished.
This can be made as a picture, or once framed as a chess board. If you choose to use it as a chess board, make sure to place felt on the back to avoid scratching any surfaces.
Included is a full chart in colour together with a key and full instructions on how to complete each stitch. The charts can be made bigger on your Kindle to help to see the symbols more clearly. With the instructions on how to work the stitches a beginner and a more experience stitcher will be able to complete the finished picture. A short history of blackwork embroidery is included in. All that is needed is time and patience.
