Instructors shall comply with the procedures outlined for the field training and evaluation (chapter 6) of this training course. Because of the different types of vegetation that chain saw and crosscut sawyers experience when working throughout the United States, instructors should supply additional materials, such as slides showing vegetation typical in the area and regional statistics regarding accidents and safety trends.
