Rando HDZ ISO 15 - Cold Weather Hydraulic Oil Fluid, 5 Gallon Pail

Chevron's Rando HDZ Cold Weather Hydraulic Oil, 5 Gallon Pail is formulated with premium base oil technology to provide the highest level of protection to hydraulic pumps. Its unique formulation includes antiwear additives, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, and a sheer stable viscosity index improver to provide the best possible protection for optimal pump efficiency.

This multi-viscosity lubricant is recommended for use in hydraulic or circulating oil systems, such as marine on-deck machinery, hydraulic actuated loading bins, and equipment that requires a wider operating temperature.

This ISO 15 HVI oil meets the following requirements:

• ASTM D6158, HV
• DIN 51524-3
• ISO 11158 L-HV

In a clean, dry environment, this lubricant typically meets a dielectric strength of 35 kV? (ASTM D877?).

Features

Hydraulic pumps can experience accelerated wear if they are not protected by a high quality hydraulic fluid. This particular oil has been specially formulated with antiwear additives to minimize metal-to-metal contact. Limiting metal-to-metal contact is especially important in vane-, piston-, and gear-type pumps.

Chevron's HVI hydraulic fluid provides the needed antiwear protection for pumps that increase pressure at over 1000psi. Rando HDZ lubricants provide up to 5 degrees improvement in overall pump efficiency when compared to a typical monograde hydraulic fluid.
