Master pianist Maurizio Pollini turned 70 on January 5th, 2012. We celebrate this milestone birthday with a new album of breathtaking Chopin. Its Chopin who launched Pollinis career back in 1960 the artist won the Chopin Competition. Pollinis Chopin recordings are his best-sellers the complete Nocturnes, released in 2005, have sold more than 100,000 CDs to date. This new album ties-in with DGs major birthday catalogue-release campaign begun in autumn 2011 through 2014. The booklet contains four language versions: English, French, German and Italian.
