This release from Dutton presents two albums by the legendary Floyd Cramer on one CD. Cramer was one of the major exponents of the ''Nashville Sound,'' which blended country and pop, but his influence also extended to traditional country and rock and roll. Cramer was a sideman on recordings by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline and many others. Cramer also enjoyed a prolific career as a solo artist. He cut fifty instrumental albums and reached number two on the pop charts in 1960 and won a GRAMMY for Best Country Instrumental in 1979.
