I feel that this box set is holistic approach towards healthy eating. I have heard and read about quite a few forms of diets such as Atkin's diet, ketogenic diet, paleo diet and the lot. But after reading about clean eating and lean diet, I feel that these are some of the best forms of eating healthy without any side effects. Of the three books, the book on lean eating is something really interesting. Not only does it give a week-by-week diet plan, but also the kind of workout one should do in order to stay healthy. Besides this, all the books have given an excellent explanation on the advantages of the specific diets, the way they should be followed and some of the mistakes to avoid as well as the things to keep in mind when following these diets.
I have been searching for great books that will help me in this “new lifestyle” that I want to commit myself into. Eating healthy is essential to keep fit. Like what this book said exercise and dieting should go hand in hand. What I like about this book is that it gave an idea on how a certain diet works like in this case, it talks about Clean Eating and Ketogenic Diet. The most important thing for me is the daily diet plan that is present in this book. With my busy schedule it’s almost impossible to create my own diet plan, but this book made it available for me. Right now all I have to do is go to the grocery store and grab all the ingredients! This book also contains a few exercise routines. It is definitely a great value for its price.
As my title said, this is actually a set of 3 books that each talk about achieving a healthy diet using different methods. Since there are 3 books, there are a lot of recipes that one can learn about and prepare to help with their diets. This is great for me since I like variety in my food choices and this allows me to change my menu every week without sacrificing my diet.
The main book, "Clean Eating", was my favorite since I don't like having unnecessary additives and chemicals added to my food and the recipes there are all made to ensure that the food I'm eating are clean of toxins and chemicals. It also talks about exercise to match my diet and how to achieve an even better result by mixing the two together.
