Cognitive-Communication Disorders of Dementia

Designed both as a text for classes on adult language disorders, namely the cognitive-communicative disorders associated with age-related dementia-associated disease, and as a useful handbook for professionals who work with these clients, this new book comprehensively details the definition, diagnosis, and treatment of such disorders. The authors, with over 27 years of experience working with individuals with dementia, have conducted three NIH longitudinal studies of individuals with dementia and have authored two widely-used standardized tests for evaluating dementia patients.
