Cohas Chalkboard System Slate Food and Art Boards are made from real New England slate, and can be hung, propped, or placed flat on surfaces. These slate boards are just right size for use as message boards, art pieces, or unique food service platters at home, weddings, bars and more. They come with no design on the surface, giving you have the entire area for your homemade lettering or illustration.

Kit does not include any markers. Use with any color Cohas, Ziggyboard or another liquid chalk marker. Click on Cohas brand for markers and event board kits with markers. Fine 1mm tip or chisel 6mm tip markers are recommended for use with boards.

The boards feature a natural slate stone that is mined from a quarry in New England and hand split. Boards come undrilled and include drilling instructions. Slate measures 8 by 12 inches.

One year limited warranty on products manufactured by imageability, inc. All boards, board surfaces, labels, and other pieces or materials manufactured by cohas’ parent company, imageability, inc. , and purchased through an authorized reseller, are covered from defects or flaws that occurred during the manufacturing process. Normal wear and tear and misuse of the materials, including but not limited to: water damage, discoloration caused by exposure to the sun or harmful chemicals, and other events that may cause damage to the products, are not covered. Markers, frames, holders, and other elements that are deemed as add-ons or additional features of the products are generally not covered by the warranty. Special exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Warranties are non-transferable. Proof of purchase must be shown to qualify.
