Installation: Slide one side of rubber into slot of aluminum housing. Screw aluminum housing into floor then snap 2nd side of rubber into 2nd slot of aluminum housing. This High Quality Shower Water Dam Threshold will keep water in while allowing easy access to to your shower. These are usually used with frameless shower doors and for handicapped showers. This threshold is ADA wheelchair compliant and allows easy access for wheelchairs to go smoothly over the top with the high quality neoprene retaining it's water seal. The strong, aluminum base is low enough (only 1 inch high) to ensure a gentle wheeling force, while the commercial grade neoprene is resistant to mildew and will not wear out from constant usage. Installation screws are provided for standard subflooring. Can be easily cut to size using a table saw or hack saw. Housing is made with anodized aluminum and seal is made from neoprene rubber. When putting down the threshold use a waterproof silicone at the edges.
