You can either mount these to a electrical style box (new or old construction style) or use the included mounting hardware for drywall installation. Wires can be connected with spade style connectors or soldered on. This listing includes a set of (2) 2-conductor spring clip wall plates and (1) 4-conductor wall plate. This will allow you to run the left and right stereo signals from your receiver into the 4 conductor plate. Then place the 2 conductor plates near your speakers.
